Boston Scene: Was the woman really carrying scissors?

In a previous post, I included a picture of a woman carrying scissors. I mistakenly thought the picture was from the cellphone video that’s available online, but it was not. Rather, it is from a series of photographs uploaded to hahatango’s Flickr page.*

Here is the photo showing the scissors:

See her there, in the lowest center part of the picture? I’m not seeing any scissors.

Sandy Hook was my first attempt at trying to analyze and understand what appeared to be a staged event. One thing it taught me was that as time passes, new information about the event becomes less reliable. I’m not sure why that’s the case. Nevertheless, if I’m mistaken about the scissors, please let me know.

By the way, there is a lot going on in the above photograph. Notice, right in the middle, the hooded man, Christian Williams. Also, notice the mature lady in the lower left corner, the one who later appears with blood on the left side of her face and her left hand.

* Merriam-Webster’s definition of “tango”: “interaction marked by a lack of straightforwardness.” It’s also used by Special Forces in the phrase “tango down”, which “is used to describe a terrorist that has been eliminated.” On the other hand, the photographer may be a ballroom dancing aficionado.
