Big surprise: Politicians in it for the money

Mark Rich’s pardon was unconscionable. The man was a crook, on the run for cheating people out of money and Bill Clinton pardoned him by bypassing legal channels and having Eric Holder do the dirty work. From the AP:

Rich fled from the United States to Switzerland in 1983 after he was indicted by a U.S. federal grand jury on more than 50 counts of fraud, racketeering, trading with Iran during the U.S. Embassy hostage crisis and evading more than $48 million in income taxes – crimes that could have earned him more than 300 years in prison.

Rich remained on the FBI’s Most Wanted List, narrowly escaping capture in Finland, Germany, Britain and Jamaica, until Clinton granted him a pardon on Jan. 20, 2001 – the day he handed over the keys to the White House to George W. Bush…

According to Federal Election Commission records, Rich’s ex-wife, songwriter Denise Rich, gave $201,000 in political donations to the Democratic Party in 2000 as lawyers for the fugitive financier pressed the U.S. government to drop the case. Rich’s attorneys turned to Clinton when the Justice Department refused to negotiate.

Federal authorities investigated but found no evidence of wrongdoing, while election officials also dismissed a complaint accusing Denise Rich of donating campaign money and furniture to Hillary Clinton in exchange for the pardon. Bill Clinton also denied any wrongdoing and said he acted on advice by prominent legal experts not connected to the trader.

Eric Holder, the current U.S. attorney general, was deputy attorney general to Clinton, and recommended Rich’s pardon.

Only weeks later, however, he told the House Government Reform Committee: “Knowing everything that I know now, I would not have recommended to the president that he grant the pardon.”

Yeah, right. Here’s an interesting coincidence:

Rich had married the former Denise Eisenberg, a New York socialite, in 1966. They divorced in 1992. After that she contributed $450,000 to Clinton’s presidential library foundation and more than $100,000 to Hillary Clinton’s Senate campaign.

The AP story is worth reading. It contains information on Rich’s career. In my opinion, he was a low-level punk within the cartel that controls the world’s assets.

So, what would Bill Clinton gain from this pardon?

Here’s a headline from the UK’s Daily Mail:

Recession… what recession? Pelosi’s wealth grows by massive 62% (and Boehner and Cantor are also millionaires)

This is all particularly bothersome to me because I’ve just been reading The Franklin Cover-Up, by John DeCamp, about the child sex abuse scandal in Nebraska. DeCamp mentions Bob Kerrey, former governor of Nebraska, and his part in stealing millions from the good people of that state during the savings and loan crisis:

Kerrey and Bill Wright used the powers of state government to 1) loot State Security’s depositors of at least $4 million and as much as $10 million, 2) deprive the depositors of Commonwealth of at least $40 million, 3) set up a new state agency, with the sole purpose of giving Kerrey and his cronies millions of dollars in low interest loans, 4) cheat farmers out of $200 million in subsidized loans, and 5) peddle junk bonds to investors who thought they were getting high-grade state bonds (p. 40).

According to his own account, Bob Kerrey entered politics to make money (p. 41).

You can read a lengthier version of this excerpt at http://www.american-buddha.com/franklincoverup.6.htm.

The Wikipedia entry on Kerrey mentions none of this. In fact, if you search for “Bob Kerrey” you’ll find next to nothing about any scandals. Funny how it’s all been covered up. In fact, Kerrey was elected to the U.S. Senate shortly after being governor. How quickly voters forget.

Next up will be Hillary, who will be portrayed as clean as the driven snow. But she’s as dirty as the rest of them and, in my opinion, more dangerous. I had read somewhere that she’s higher up on the NWO ladder than Bill. Like the current president, she’s an Alinsky-ite. He was the subject of her senior thesis at Wellesley. This is Alinsky’s dedication in his book, Rules for Radicals:

“Lest we forget, at least an over-the-shoulder acknowledgment to the very first radical: from all our legends, mythology, and history… the first radical known to man who rebelled against the establishment and did it so effectively that he at least won his own kingdom — Lucifer.”

Nice. These are people we have running this country and they are the reason we’re in such a mess. Many or most of them are money-grubbers, which means they can be compromised, and many or most have no regard for others. That’s why they can lie, cheat, steal, and use others for their own purposes. The rest of us are left to fend for ourselves. Unfortunately, this paragraph could refer to every country in the world.

If you want to see how truly disgusting some of these people are, read The Franklin Cover-Up. It was available as a PDF download; however, when I just now checked that site, it had porn links, so I won’t give the address here. The book reveals how politicians and others in authority were using children as sex toys, to run drugs, and even selling them. You’ll feel you need a shower after reading it.
