The Fox News monopoly

As reported at Breitbart.com:

In a lengthy interview with The Hollywood Reporter, [Roger] Ailes [CEO of Fox News] points out correctly that MSNBC and CNN have given up on and are moving away from the news business: “That means Fox has won the cable news wars.”

It’s pretty scary to think of having only one cable station doing the reporting, especially after discovering that print media and local news outlets are spewing, verbatim, the same news. Equally scary is the fact that Fox News fans are happy that Fox has “won”. They don’t realize that Fox is as corrupt as the other news outlets. Just because Fox doesn’t ridicule Conservatives and Christians doesn’t mean it’s trustworthy. It’s brainwashing for the Right Wing; however, most viewers won’t believe that fact. Most Conservatives seem to hate “conspiracy theorists” and the talking heads of Fox News regularly ridicule them along with alternative news items.

Right-wingers should also consider a hacked and leaked email from Stratfor, Strategic Forecasting, Inc., a global intelligence firm:

From: Meredith Friedman [mailto:XXXXX@stratfor.com]

Subject: FW: ***Rush Limbaugh**
Importance: High
I was on email with Rush for a half hour or more before his show sending
him our analysis on South Ossetia and chatting with him. I gave him
talking points and emailed him our latest piece at about 5 minutes before
he went on air. I was so busy doing this I didn’t have time to let y’all
know…..

Great – I’ve also given him his own account to use and he offered to pay
for it:) Told him stratfor can afford to give him a free account!!!

Meredith

I can understand Rush doing research using Stratfor data; however, getting personal talking points from them is a bit suspicious, as a talking point is “Something, such as an especially persuasive point, that helps to support an argument or a discussion.”

All news outlets have an agenda and most of them have no concern for our best interests. I pray that people will wake up and consider what they’re hearing, rather than supporting talking heads and news just because it’s coming from “their side”.
