Upon first hearing of the riots in Ferguson, it seemed that perhaps tanks and military-type police costumes could actually aid the cops in stopping the destruction and looting that was taking place. I was wrong. From the NY Daily News:
Ferguson continued to be a war zone Thursday. As night fell, protesters once again began to gather. It remained to be seen whether there would be a repeat of Wednesday’s chaos, during which cops in riot gear clashed with hundreds of angry demonstrators, some of them hurling bottles and Molotov cocktails.
The militarized police with all their military equipment and bad attitudes can’t stop rioters from terrorizing and destroying a small Missouri town. So, why allow cops to keep the military equipment and bad attitudes? What does it get us, other than dead citizens and murdered pets?
Here’s a video of the Ferguson police show:
What did they accomplish with all that? Here’s Ferguson:
Missouri’s militarized police didn’t stop the looting and rioting, i.e., the destruction of this community; rather, they trampled the First Amendment by not allowing the assembly of peaceful protestors and harassing news reporters.
From The Guardian:
For hours, police snipers trained their weapons on demonstrators who protested with their hands up as an emblem of peaceful protest. When events escalated on a fourth night of tension in this city of just 21,000 people, protesters described being subjected to military-style tactics as they fled through gas-filled residential side-streets.
Instead of apprehending those who threw bottles (two of them) at the line of cops, the cops decided to attack everyone. They used sound weapons and tear gas, which, according to the Washington Post, is a chemical weapon banned in war. Why is the U.S. allowing this abuse of its own citizens?
They tear-gassed an Al-Jazeera camera crew:
“I got shot in the kidneys with one of those rubber rounds and had two gas canisters come right at me,” Biggs reported. “When I got up, I couldn’t see so I went in one direction and lost [Infowars reporter] Jakari Jackson and [Infowars cameraman] Josh Owens.”
Owens made it inside of a car with a reporter from Vice News but police pinned down their vehicle and shot flash bangs and tear gas at them.
They also raided a McDonald’s where they roughed-up and arrested two reporters:
Reporters from The Washington Post and The Huffington Post were arrested in Ferguson, Mo., on Wednesday night while covering the protests that have rocked the St. Louis suburb.
Wesley Lowery, a Washington Post political reporter, and Ryan Reilly, a Huffington Post justice reporter, were arrested in a McDonald’s shortly before 8 p.m. EDT. Police entered the restaurant and told patrons to leave, the reporters wrote on Twitter after their release. The police then asked Lowery and Reilly for their identification and, according to the reporters, arrested them because they weren’t packing their bags fast enough.
Lowery also said the police officers “assaulted” him. “Officers slammed me into a fountain soda machine because I was confused about which door they were asking me to walk out of,” he wrote on Twitter. Lowery also said that he and Reilly were released without paperwork or charges, and that the officers refused to provide the reporters with their names.
In 2008, O-POTUS promised to construct a civilian national security force that would be “just as powerful, just as strong, just as well funded as the US Military.” Most are awaiting some as yet unseen body of well-armed thugs; however, is this it, or at least part of it? Who else is so well-funded (check out the budget for your local police force) and militarily equipped as local police?
Ferguson reveals that the militarization of police is not for the benefit of our local communities. Rather, it’s about furthering the agenda of globalists who want to destroy the basic rights we have as American citizens. And O-POTUS plays golf while illegal immigrants flood the nation and Ferguson burns. Is he celebrating? Here’s the $12 million home where he recently spent a two-week vacation:
Here’s the motorcade that escorted him to his game of golf with Valerie Jarrett’s cousin:
Who paid for all that? The U.S. is trillions of dollars in debt and we have to pay for this motorcade, which includes a SWAT team and two snipers, to follow him around so he can play golf? Barack Hussein Obama is a modern-day Nero who’s fiddling with his golf clubs while the nation burns. From DW Ulsterman:
Hours prior to taking off for his Martha’s Vineyard millionaires’ paradise vacation, White House staff in conjunction with someone from the Pentagon attempted to update the president on international security concerns…
A clearly annoyed President Obama waved away Blinken’s attempt to have a moment to update the president on the various situations in the Middle East, the Commander in Chief mumbling the following as he then quickened his pace toward the Private Residence:
“Don’t bother me with this sh*t. Update Susan or take it to Denis. You know the drill.”
Kudos to those peacefully protesting the police shooting of Michael Brown. Perhaps the nonsense happening in Ferguson will wake more folks up to the fact that local police are being turned into militarized monsters and none of our elected officials are doing anything to stop it.
