Here we go again. Are they lying or just unable to get their facts straight? Regarding the suspects, it was initially reported that one was dead and two were in custody. That was retracted and now we’re told that one turned himself in and the others are hiding in a small town north of Paris. nicedeb documented changes in the story. This is from NBC news:
Earlier Wednesday, two senior U.S. counterterrorism officials told NBC News that one of the suspects in the attack had been killed and that two others were in custody. However, the officials later said the information that was the basis of that account could not be confirmed.
Is it possible this event might be a drill? From Reuters:
French anti-terrorist police sealed off a small northern town and helicopters hovered overhead after a police source said two men believed to have carried out an attack on a satirical journal took at least one person hostage in a small print works.
This is the first time I’ve heard about a hostage.
Police trucks, ambulances and armored vehicles descended on the area close to Paris’s Charles de Gaulle airport after the suspects took refuge with at least one hostage in a building on an industrial estate, according to police sources.
Police quickly blocked all entrances to the town seeking to limit the scale of any siege and confine the suspects… Residents were asked to stay off the streets.
“All residents are requested to remain at home. Children are to be kept safe in school,” the municipal website said.
Apparently, reporters were allowed outside:
Check out these photos. Remind you of the police drill following the Boston bombing event?
Here’s another strange report. It’s from an Oklahoma news outlet:
Two intense standoffs with gunmen were underway in and around Paris early Friday afternoon — one involving the two brothers wanted in the Charlie Hebdo massacre and the other a hostage situation at a kosher grocery store near eastern Paris’ Porte de Vincennes.
It was not immediately known if the two situations were related, but both underscored France’s nightmare and anti-terrorism fight.
The hostage situation spurred police anti-terror units and the French internal security directorate, known as the DGSI, to race to eastern Paris, the city’s prosecutor’s office said. Hostages were taken after a shooting there or nearby.
CNN affiliate France 2 aired live video of police tactical teams getting into position at the scene of the standoff.
Meanwhile, law enforcement officers had also surrounded a building about 40 kilometers (25 miles) northeast in the town Dammartin-en-Goele.
Simultaneous standoffs, hostage(s), and media there to document everything. Here’s something else that’s strange. There’s video of the alleged terrorists shooting a police officer; however, as others have pointed out, although the officer was lying on the ground and allegedly shot at close range, there’s no blood anywhere. By the way, the YouTube video in which I initially saw this has been removed by the user. And, for some reason, I cannot play any YouTube videos today. The “raw video footage” found on Yahoo Screen has one of those distorting dots over the officer. Nevertheless, here’s a photo just before the shot was allegedly fired. Notice the caption:
It says “before one of them appears to shoot a Paris police officer.” Seems whoever published this photo doesn’t believe the official stories either.
And for more strangeness, here are some of the many photos from the Charlie Hebdo event. This is the French Interior Minister with one of the alleged victims:
Helpful, isn’t he? I guess the French don’t rush around like Americans do. Remember Carlos running with Jeff’s severed vein in his hand? This French victim finally gets to an ambulance but no one seems in a hurry to put him inside (more time for photos?):
Here’s another alleged victim. Does he have a “2” tattooed on the top of his head?
Here’s the result of the Hebdo event:
Follow the lead of the French President, Interior Minister, Mayor of Paris, and others in these photo ops:
Don’t forget that 2015 is a pivotal year for the new world order. Expect things to get a lot more strange.
